La chambre du maître canonnier placée sur le premier pont dans l'angle arrière tribord.
Cette chambre est très exiguë, coincée entre le dernier sabord de la première batterie et le sabord de retraite.
On pourra noter le treillis métallique remplaçant la vitre afin d'aérer la chambre et la qualité d'exécution de cette menuiserie.
 The master gunner's cabin sited on the gun deck in the aft starboard corner.  This room is very cramped, shoehorned in between the last gun port of the first battery and the stern chase gun port. You will note the metal trellis that replaces glass in the window to air the room and the quality of the execution of this joinery.

 
L'étambrai du mât de misaine au deuxième pont est simplement constitué d'un assemblage de pièces destinées à supporter
les abouts du bordage. A gauche, le sep de drisse de misaine qui comporte un galoche latérale sur laquelle on devine
le palier métallique de l'axe. A droite, en contre bas du pont on aperçoit la partie haute de l'étambrai du beaupré.
The upper deck fore-mast hole is simply constructed from an assembly of pieces intended to support the bordering blocks.  To the left, the fore-mast knights head block which includes an additional snatch block on which one can make out the metal axis bearing. 
On the right, below the deck, one can see the upper part of the bowsprit seat.

Toute la partie avant du vaisseau est appuyée sur le bau de coltis que l'on voit ici maintenu par une superbe courbe.
Le constructeur a choisi de faire figurer les chevilles rivées sur virole, le résultat est très convaincant.
On pourra remarquer la netteté du travail.
The whole front part of the vessel is attached to the beak head beam that one can see here supported by a superb knee support.  The builder has chosen to give the appearance of clinch bolts, and the result is very convincing.  You will notice the neatness of the work.

  
Vue de l'avant du bau de coltis qui, associé au premier barreau du gaillard supportera les montants dont on voit ici les logements.
Le passage du beaupré nécessite une entaille dans le bau. Quand cette entaille est très marquée, il faut prévoir un surplus de bois
sur l'arrière pour garder la résistance du bau.
View from in front of the beak head beam which, when associated with the first forecastle beam, will carry the pin-rail stanchions of whose rebated channels we can see here.  The passage of the bowsprit requires a indent in the beam. 
When this indent is very deep, it is necessary to provide extra wood at the back to preserve the strength of the beam.
